KILLING POLICE DOG/HORSE - ELEMENTS
No person may be convicted of killing a police dog/horse unless the State has proved beyond a reasonable doubt each element of the crime. These elements are:
First, willfully;
Second, killing;
Third, a police dog/horse;
Fourth, owned/used by;
Fifth, a law enforcement agency [of a political subdivision] of the State.
